Ed Sheeran debuted his cover of Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Love” last year, and ever since it has been a fan favourite. Over the weekend Sheeran finally got a chance to sing it with the Queen B herself.

Sheeran and Beyoncé were both performing at the New York’s Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, with the latter headlining the evening. During her set, Beyoncé called out Sheeran to sing the song as a duet, and the fans went wild.

The duet wasn’t completely unexpected, after all several artists performed together throughout the evening. Beyoncé also teamed with Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder to cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song,”, while Sheeran sang “Thinking Out Loud” with Coldplay’s Chris Martin during his set.

The Global Citizen Festival is part of THE NGO, which aims to end extreme world poverty by 2030, and is backed by the United Nations, big business and a lot of different celebrities. This year’s festival featured the above stars, as well as Stephen Colbert, Hugh Jackman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, and many others.
