Get A First Look At The Fifty Shades Of Grey Sequel
There’s no denying it, Fifty Shades of Grey was a huge success, grossing well over $500,000,000 . Fans of the series flocked to the theatres to check out how far the movies would go in comparison to the book, and people who hadn’t read the books went to see what all the fuss was about. And because of its huge success everyone expected the announcement that the sequels would be coming. That announcement came yesterday, with a first peek at Christian Grey in Fifty Shades Darker.
The sequels, titled Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed respectively, will be released on Valentine’s Day weekend of 2017 and 2018. There was no announcement on if there would be any casting changes, but with the released photo of Jamie Dornan one would suspect he is returning to the role of Christian Grey. Dakota Johnson is also expected to return as Anastasia Steele. A new director will have to be found however, because Sam Taylor-Johnson announced shortly after the movie was released that he would not be returning.
Rumor has it that author E L James’ husband Niall Leonard will write the screenplay for the first sequel. In case you were wondering he is a published novelist himself. The story follows Christian attempting to win Ana back after their breakup at the end of the first film.
