Victoria Beckham Designs Fundraising T-Shirt For World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day, and to help raise awareness and funds for the cause, singer turned designer, Victoria Beckham has added her design touch to a special t-shirt to help with World AIDS Day. The money raised from the tee will go to the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) to support their efforts in ending the AIDS epidemic by 2030.

In September, Victoria was announced as a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador. She has visited South Africa to help raise awareness about the transmission of HIV to babies in Africa. In August, she sold 600 pieces of clothing from her own closet to help raise money for Mothers2mothers, a non-profit organisation that helps mothers living with HIV.

“My personal commitment to raise awareness and resources to end the AIDS epidemic is one that is shared by my brand and we wanted to mark World AIDS Day with an initiative that my customers could also participate in,” said Beckham.

The t-shirt, featuring a screen-printed World AIDS Day ribbon logo, is available for purchase at her flagship store in Mayfair, London and also online for £90.
