Melissa Rivers wants answers now. Joan Rivers’ daughter is suing the medical center where Joan died on September 4th as well as the medical team, after the shocking death of her mother.

The reason for suing is simply because she is tired of asking what happened to her mother in the operating room and getting no answers. This is the only way she will be able to find out what really happened to her mom.

Joan sadly passed away at the age of 81 at Mount Sinai Hospital, just one week after she suffered from cardiac arrest during what should have been a minor outpatient procedure. Her official cause of death released by the New York City Medical Examiner last week confirms that Joan died from anoxic encephalopathy due to hypoxic arrest, which occurs when the oxygen flow to your brain is cut off.

For Melissa to know exactly what happened, a lawsuit must be filed against the hospital. This then gives her the power to force the medical team with a sworn testimony to answer her questions about what happened and why her mother stopped breathing.

Hopefully with this cause of action, Melissa will get all of the answers she rightfully deserves.
