Close friends and family said their final goodbyes to the late actor Robin Williams, who took his own life on August 11.

According to reports, the actor’s remains were cremated and scattered in San Francisco Bay during a private memorial last week.

Williams’ wife confirmed the sad news that the comedic actor was dealing with the early stages of Parkinson’s disease and has had a long battle with addiction and depression.

Fans of Williams’ took over the internet when news of his passing had hit, but some have taken it a step farther and have created shrines at some locations where the actor shot some of his most famous movie scenes.

According to reports the Emmys broadcast on August 25 will pay tribute to the late actor, who is survived by his wife, Susan Schneider, and his three children.

According to reports, Williams’ friend, Billy Crystal, will highlight the actor in the show’s “In Memoriam” segment.

Williams was 63.
