While Juno weekend festivities are already well under way in Winnipeg, Sunday’s winner results are still under guarded lock and key. Who will win the coveted Juno Award? Real Style offers a selected list of our top 5 shoe-ins who are *sure* to take home the prize. Watch the winners live this Sunday, March 30th at 8 pm CT. 9 pm ET on CTV stations across Canada.

Breakthrough Group of the Year

Juno Award Nominees:

A Tribe Called Red, Autumn Hill, Born Ruffians, Courage My Love, July Talk

Bursting forth from Canada’s nation’s capital, A Tribe Called Red is brimming with uniqueness as they blend instrumental hip-hop, reggae and dub step with elements of First Nations music. ATCR were also shortlisted for the 2013 Polaris Music Prize awards, and on diversity alone we believe they will take home a Juno for Breakout Group of the Year.

Rap Recording of the Year

Juno Award Nominees:

Drake, Classified, Rich Kidd, Shad, SonReal

Is it even a contest when Drake is part of the equation? Toronto’s very own is sure to take home a Juno for his 2013 release Nothing Was the Same.  The only question on everybody’s mind is whether he will walk the red-carpet with rumoured girlfriend Rihanna.

Dance Recording of the Year

Juno Award Nominees:

Armin van Buuren & Trevor Guthrie Armada ,  deadmou5, Mia Martina, Jacynthe , DVBBS & Borgeous,

While Armin van Buuren hails from the Netherlands, he partnered up with Vancouver singer Trevor Guthriet making this duo eligible for the Dance Recording category at this year’s Juno awards. Their runaway hit “This is What it Feels Like” was at the top of the local international charts and they will definitely be taking home a nifty statuette Sunday night.

Group of the Year

Juno Award Nominees:

Arcade Fire, Blue Rodeo, Hedley, Tegan And Sara, Walk off the Earth

With 6 nominations at the 2014 Juno Awards, Montreal’s Arcade Fire are what we call are “sure thing” when it comes to the Group of the Year category. The only glitch is that the band won’t be at the awards show to accept their accolades, as they will be Santiago as part of Lollapalooza: Chile.

 Pop Album of the Year

Juno Award Nominees:

Hedley, Michael Bublé, Robin Thicke, Tegan and Sara, Walk off the Earth

This category is chocked full of extraordinary talent making this verdict a tough call. Here at Real Style we absolutely adored Tegan and Sara’s album Heartthrob and who could resist singing and dancing to Robin Thicke’s summer smash “Blurred Lines”?  While this is the tightest race yet, we are sure that Vancouver’s Michael Bublé will take home the coveted honour for his pop album To Be Loved.
