Gwyneth Paltrow’s Controversial Detox Diet Plan


Gwyneth Paltrow has become the curator of everything lifestyle, and she’s been serving up a few detox diet plans that have garnered some controversial attention. While her efforts to clean up our diets, and detox our insides for a healthier and a more fulfilling 2014, Gwyneth Paltrow’s detox diet plan menu is sending shock waves throughout social media.

We’ve researched our fair share of diet detox plans and they’re all strict in their own right, and while the methods are radical, the results are ravishing. Putting down the chips and swapping them for a salad is a great way to look and feel your very best. While it’s been noted that that the daily caloric intake of Gwyneth’s plan is a mere 300, we’re thinking this detox can be mixed in with the healthy foods you’re already consuming.  Gwyneth Paltrow said of her detox diet plan on Goop, “adjust the times to your schedule and the meals to your taste. But here is what we’re avoiding: dairy, gluten, shellfish, anything processed (including all soy products), nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant), condiments, sugar, alcohol, caffeine and soda.”

Gwyneth Palrow’s Chai Gingerbread Shake Recipe: (Serves 1)
– 1 cup of warm brewed rooibos chai tea (easy to find)
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon of allspice
– 2 teaspoons of ground ginger (or a tablespoon or two of fresh squeezed ginger juice)
– 1/2 cup of almond or coconut milk
– 2 tablespoons of almond butter
– coconut nectar, raw honey or stevia to taste
– optional: 1 scoop protein powder of your choice
