1)  Outstanding Comedy Series: Modern Family

With its devoted fan base and critical acclaim, we’ve come to love the hit ABC series and have watched the daily lives of Manny, Gloria, Haley and their fellow characters come to life on the screen.

2) Outstanding Drama Series: Breaking Bad

With the finale of Breaking Bad just weeks away, fans of the series have been eagerly anticipating Walter White’s next move. Will BB take home an Emmy? We can always hope!

3) Outstanding Lead Actor (Comedy): Jim Parsons

With the 7th season of The Big Bang Theory starting this fall, we can’t seem to get enough of the eccentric yet funny Sheldon Cooper. We wonder if everyone’s favourite nerd will win another Emmy this year.

4) Outstanding Lead Actress (Comedy): Tina Fey

With her great combo of brains and humour, Liz Lemon has won critics’ hearts on 30 Rock (she’s won an Emmy along with two Golden Globe awards before). With 2013 marking the show’s last season, we’re wondering if Tina Fey will wrap up things in a big way with another Emmy.

5) Outstanding Lead Actor (Drama): Bryan Cranston

With both Breaking Bad and Bryan Cranston (who plays Walter White) in the running this year, it seems like another great year for the series.

6) Outstanding Lead Actress (Drama): Claire Danes

Claire Danes’ years of experience in showbiz have led the blonde actress to two Emmy awards in the past.
