Lindsay Lohan Handcuffed, Taken Into Custody And Released On Bail

Lindsay Lohan was warned at her probation hearing to take her sentencing seriously, and after missing too many community service appointments the Mean Girls actress yesterday had her probation revoked, was handcuffed and taken into custody.

The half hour hearing in a Los Angeles court ended was more a formality than anything else, and after paying the $100,000 bail Lohan was released.  She’s expected to be back in court on November 2nd, where it will be formally decided whether or not she violated her probation.  People reports that “Judge Stephanie Sautner said on Wednesday that Lohan ‘blew off’ nine scheduled appointments at the Downtown Women’s Center, where the actress had been ordered to complete 360 hours for her necklace theft case. Because of the no-shows, Lohan had been kicked out of the program.”

Lohan’s attorney argued that the missed appointments were due to “work commitments abroad” and that her psychiatrist gave her a “glowing” review that stated she had “reached a turning point in her accountability and maturity.”

If Lohan is found guilty in her November 2nd hearing she could face jail time once again, although it could end up being a house arrest like she faced earlier this year.
