Superstars Rush To Release Japan Benefit Album
Rihanna, Justin Bieber, U2, and other Universal music superstars are rushing to create a compilation, digital only album to help raise money for victims of the Japanese tsunami and earthquake. The project is hoped to be finished by the end of the week, with proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross.
People reports that Justin Beiber tweeted “Japan is one of my favorite places on earth … it’s an incredible culture with amazing people. My prayers go out to them. We all need to help, by being one of the first on board for the project.”
Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Bon Jovi have also been recruited.
This of course comes on the heels of Sandra Bullock and other celebrities donating money and items to be auctioned off for the charity.
