As the seasons change, so do our beauty routines and the ingredients within them. Watermelon, the photogenic fruit practically synonymous with summer, is not only a great treat covered in feta or sloshed up in a daiquiri it is also an up-and-coming skin-care and hair-care ingredient.<\/p>\n

Its name says it all, as the watermelon is packed with 92 percent water. The water-based fruit is also brimming with vitamin B6 and fine-line smoothing amino acids. The pink fruit is also believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and help with blood circulation, exfoliation, breakouts, redness, fine lines, and dry ends.
