If you\u2019re currently sporting your favourite aviators to shield your delicate eyes from the harsh autumn sunlight, the latest manicure trend will come as welcome news. Sunglass nails are quickly making a splash in the world of beauty, thanks to their gleaming surface and shiny effect.<\/p>\n

Although beauty lovers are already familiar with the look of chrome manicures, sunglass inspired fingernails are the latest variation on luminous manicures. Like many of the major beauty trends which are ruling today, sunglass nails find their roots in Korea. Recently, New York City-based manicurist Julie Kandalec showcased a snapshot of the Korean nail trend on her Instagram.<\/p>\n

The manicure look features a polarized, iridescent effect which immediately evokes a pair of retro inspired shades. Meanwhile, the nail itself makes a splash with its longer length and square shape.<\/p>\n

While it may be too early to predict if Korean sunglass nails will become a major trend in North America, we are certainly liking the polished surface and shimmering finish of this mani.
