While Cara Delevingne may have temporarily changed her focus from the catwalk to the silver screen, the 23-year-old British bombshell is still a beauty icon. In breaking news, Delevingne has now been announced as the latest face of cosmetics brand Rimmel London.<\/p>\n

Rimmel shared the news today on their official Instagram account, along with a photo of the unconventional London-born beauty. According to the accompanying Instagram caption, Rimmel will release further details in a Snapchat press conference on April 15.<\/p>\n

Delevingne shared her excitement about the new beauty partnership in a statement to Women\u2019s Wear Daily<\/em><\/a>.\u00a0\u201cMy first memory of Rimmel, was watching the adverts with Kate [Moss],\u201d she said to WWD.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cI was very much a tomboy growing up so I never really wore makeup but I was always fascinated by how edgy and captivating the brand and its ambassadors were. It\u2019s such an iconic cosmetic brand that represents the London girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
