Real Style: What are your five favourite beauty products?
Stephanie: If I had to, I would say number one would be Palmer’s Coconut Oil. As long as it’s all-natural with no additives. Number two would be Sugar Lip Treatment from Fresh. You can get it at Sephora, and my favourite colour is Rosé. It also has SPF 15, so it’s amazing. Neutrogena Original Hand Cream is the best moisture for the wintertime. Maybelline Great Lash Mascara (I’ve never found anything better), and then a big one for me is BareMinerals Foundation. I have really sensitive skin, and it gives me the SPF and the coverage, but you don’t even feel like you’re wearing makeup.
Real Style: If you had to choose a favourite beauty icon, who would it be and why?
Stephanie: My celebrity icon now is Emma Watson. Not only is she an incredible woman, but she is also such a classic beauty and she always gets it right. She’s the perfect mixture of sophisticated, sexy but classic, which I love. You can look back at photos of her in the future, and the look is still amazing.
Real Style: Describe your skincare regimen for a flawless complexion.
Stephanie: I will say my complexion is not flawless! I have very dry skin, I also have trouble with acne. I’ve had to really work on my skin. I have found that the best cleanser is Spectro, because it’s totally affordable but it also locks in the moisture without causing breakouts. It’s great for my dry skin. I’m also a big fan of Kiehl’s products. I love their Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I use a serum overnight from Kiehl’s as well, called Midnight Recovery Concentrate. As a spot treatment, I’ve found that the best thing for breakouts is all natural tea tree oil.
Real Style: What are your best tips for keeping fit, despite a packed schedule?
Stephanie: I’m lucky because I love running. For me, that’s my time to process everything and daydream and listen to good music. I try to run most mornings. When I’m feeling tired and lazy (which I’ve been feeling a lot lately), I try to focus on how much better I’ll feel after the run, because it really energizes me for the day.
Real Style: How do you maintain your locks and keep your hair moisturized?
Stephanie: I’ve found an amazing company that makes all natural coconut milk shampoo and conditioner. It’s called Alba; I just get it at Whole Foods. It makes my hair feel silky, it’s incredible. I do a hair mask by Bumble and Bumble every week. I try to get a trim every six weeks as well. Because I’m blonde, to keep the colour up on set they’re using all these products. To keep my blonde looking fresh, I use a clarifying lemon shampoo by Avalon.
