Green Eyeshadow- Spring 2016’s Hottest Beauty Trend At New York Fashion Week
On the Spring 2016 runways at New York Fashion Week, green eyeshadow has quickly been making a splash as an emerging beauty trend for the season ahead. While it may be too early to update your beauty bag for next spring, the catwalks in New York have already offered a glimpse of shades of green as the latest in eye makeup looks.
At Monique Lhuillier, models graced the runway with fierce, winged teal eyeliner applied to the upper eyelids. The striking colour contrasted against a bare face and glowing skin for a bold beauty statement.
Meanwhile, Jenny Packham embraced the trend with a soft, smudged blue green colour and a subtle, blended effect. According to Hollywood Life, the eye makeup look was crafted by Laura Mercier makeup artist Talia Sparrow. As a finishing touch, long and dramatic lashes completed the beauty look.
At Marissa Webb, a khaki inspired makeup statement brought a mix of dull green and gold shades together with a hint of shimmer. The look, which was created using Maybelline’s The RockNudes palette, featured a heavy application of eyeshadow and defined dark purple eyeliner for a contrast.
