The Buzz about Bee Venom Skin Care

In the never-ending search for the ultimate anti-aging beauty product, one of the hottest new products is a line of skin creams containing bee stings.

According to the Huffington Post, sales of the Manuka Doctor bee venom skin care range are up 3,000% since it launched in the UK just three weeks ago. The Manuka Doctor skin creams are said to contain more than 10,000 bee stings per pot and took 12 years to develop. Scientists claim the venom, dubbed nature’s alternative to Botox, helps to prevent ageing by smoothing out wrinkles and stimulating collagen growth and cell renewal. Celebrity fans of bee venom are said to include Danni Minogue and Kate Middleton.

Want to try bee sting cream yourself? It’s not yet available in North American stores, but if sales continue to be strong, we’re sure it will make its way across the pond. We’ll keep you posted!
