After Thanksgiving Detox
It is a given fact that most of us will over-indulge on Thanksgiving. Who doesn’t? But it’s not the end of the world. We just need a small push, such as a simple detoxification to get back on the right track. Follow these treatment tips and you will be one step closer to a full recovery!
Drink plenty of tea. In this case, ginger or chamomile tea works well, as it improves digestion from all of that food. Warm beverages promote digestion, so any kind of herbal tea will do.
Oatmeal is the next best thing as it is high in insoluble fibre, which helps speed things up and gets them moving. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water, as water is what also helps the body digest, in order to eliminate waste.
Just because you are detoxifying, doesn’t mean you should skip out on any meals whatsoever. It is important to eat foods that are high in insoluble fibre at every meal, like carrot sticks.
Exercise is key and stimulates the intestines. It is crucial and it will maintain the process of speeding things in a quick and efficient manner. A little sweat does the body good and helps process and burn those extra calories you consumed.
