Get Better Skin With Collagen-Infused Foods
According to a Japanese approach to perfect skin, the answer might just be in your fridge or freezer. While in North America the most common way to erase wrinkles and fine lines is collagen and Botox injections, Japanese women believe in consuming collagen infused foods.
Japanese beauty expert Miki Okae suggests eating collagen-rich beef tendons as a regular part of your beauty routine, as well as drinking a combination of collagen and water. In Japan collagen-infused foods are said to be popular and are even offered in resturants.
Doctors say there is no proof that this method works, but Okae says she has kept her skin looking beautiful by doing this every day for the past five years. She sometimes mixes the animal product with tea.
