Make Up For Ever are creating a cosmetics line based on the movie Burlesque. The line will include fake lashes, “diamond” eye shadow and red lipstick. This isn’t the only makeup line pairing up with the Cher & Christina Aguilera movie. Smashbox has already released their Burlesque makeup line which features shimmer, lip gloss, eyeliner and a eye shadow quad. (WWD)
Parfums Christian Dior is making their skin care products even more exclusive by announcing they will now only use Icelandic Glacial water. They say the water has biological properties that are important to the Dior skin care line. The new water will be in all products by 2012, but they will start testing them immediately. (WWD)
PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics is launching a new Fairness Gloss. The goal is to try to inspire women to ask for equal pay as their male counterparts and learn about the Paycheck Fairness Act in the US. They hope to empower women to make a change as women all around the world make less than men in the same industry. The lip gloss is a golden nude and include 75% organic ingredients.
