RS: What would you tell someone who doesn’t have a big budget?
CT: Don’t ever let that stop you from moving forward with your vision. So many people end up putting their renovations on hold because they don’t have the funds. Start with the things that don’t cost a lot, like
moving the furniture around, or “shopping your home” to see
if you can perhaps use accent pillows or accessories from a different room to give it a pop of colour. Change things up!

When you’re on a budget, this is your chance to get creative and to channel your ability to be resourceful. I will allocate the majority of the budget on big ticket items, whether it’s a sectional, or hiring a professional to paint a large space, and the rest I can fill in with items from thrift
