 TREND ALERT
Over the past few seasons, runway beauty has been drawing its cues from decades of the past. For Fall 2018, the groovy ‘60s are back in full force and are inspiring bold makeup reminiscent of this bygone era. On the runway at Anna Sui, smudged red eyeshadow was paired with floating lavender eyeliner, a dark winged
eye and lots of eyelashes, for a ’60s bombshell feel. Meanwhile, natural eyebrows, a glowing complexion and glossy nude lips completed this retro makeup look. For a finishing touch, a touch of peach blush highlighted the cheekbones, but left the focus fully on the funky eyes. To channel your inner hippie child this autumn, aim for a similar look with enhanced vibrant eyeliner, flushed cheeks and luminous foundation. All you now need is a themed party, and a mod-inspired dress to complete this throwback beauty look!
