grimes-Beech may be drawing her sar- torial cues from the world of rock and roll, but there are also numerous hollywood names who have inspired her acting career. She was thrilled to have the chance to work with fellow Canadian actress and former real Style cover girl Wendy Crewson on The Detail. Crewson plays Staff inspector Fiona Currie on the show, while english actress Angela Griffin is Detective Stevie hall.
“i learned a lot from lori loughlin on 90210, and i feel like i am learning a lot now from Wendy Crewson and Ange- la Griffin on this show. Any women who have been doing this for longer than i have, I definitely would love to work with them. Wendy and Angela are both just lovely,” the young star tells us.
Speaking of her role on 90210, grimes- Beech reflects on coming of age under the glare of the spotlight. “i think i have grown up on tV pretty much, and i think i’m growing up with my fans and my audi- ence,” she shares.
despite growing up on screen, she wouldn’t change anything about her past, she confides. “I feel that everybody makes their own mistakes and learns from them, so i don’t know if there’s any advice for giving. I feel that everyone needs to figure out that path and that journey themselves,” she says.

impeccably polished, she also claims to adore Jack’s laidback style. “She’s un- pretty, she’s unkempt, she’s a little dishev- elled and i love all of that about her.” this is certainly news to our ears, especially as grimes-Beech herself is known as an ar- dent fashionista in the celebrity world. the slender brunette has a style, beauty and lifestyle blog called lost in lala, and has recently launched a subscription box ser- vice called Badass Box. As for her personal wardrobe, grimes-Beech laughs when she tells us that her go-to wardrobe is best de- scribed as “Steven tyler wannabe.”
