NIKI KAVAKONIS
For anyone wanting to make a dramatic arrival at their next event, Kavakonis’ fine jewellery line may be just the right fit. Born in Toronto to a Finnish mother and Greek father, the Canadian tal- ent is known for her architectural designs and attention to detail. In
fact, one of her most memorable designs is the Sunrise Ruby Ear- ring. Inspired by the 13th century poem The Sunrise Ruby by Per- sian poet Rumi, the earrings are crafted with a five carat star ruby from India. The ruby has certified by the Indian Gemological Insti- tute, while the earrings are made with 18 karat white gold.
