Toronto has been taken over by stylish fashionistas and emerging designers this week as World Mastercard Fashion Week has landed. Between all of the fabulous fashions, we know it can be hard to see every designer. Here are three up and coming designers you should keep an eye on though.
Toronto Fashion Week day four is in the books, and the shows I attended were all unique and perfectly on point for spring. The atmosphere was on overdrive, and the tents were buzzing and the music was blaring. There was a lot of build up and excitement for last night’s line-up, as everyone was eagerly awaiting the Target collection.
World MasterCard Fashion Week day three was one of the most extravagant! Last night was a star-studded event, as two huge headliners were showcasing their spring collections for the seasoned runway veterans of Toronto.
Day two at Toronto Fashion Week went off without a hitch, and the weather certainly held up its end of the bargain. The fashion parade outside of the tents was a spectacle in its own right, as trendy men and women alike flocked to the festivities that were underway.
With the World MasterCard Fashion Week on our horizon, we were graced with the first off-site show to kick of this spring set. Located in a trendy loft with high ceilings and raw finishes and a packed house, we knew we were gearing up for an ultra-cool collection.
The second and final day of the shows is a wrap, and it did not disappoint. Two heavyweight fashion forces Steven Tai and Jeremy Laing presented their Spring/Summer 2014 collections, and our senses were treated to pretty pastels, playful prints, artful accents, and of course an astounding ambiance. Their two sets gave us an insight into the colorful spring that is soon approaching, and showcased new and exciting prints, paired with inventive patterns that kept the looks fresh and endlessly exciting.
