Oz The Great And Powerful is finding many fans in the fashion world. Shoe designer Jerome C. Rousseau is the latest designer to fall in love with images from the Disney film and be inspired to design. Rousseau has designed a fantasy shoe inspired by Oz that is available today.
The silver open-toe pump with the swirl design was clearly inspired by Michelle Williams’ turn on Glinda The Good Witch. Rousseau says on the website that “The shoe is obviously inspired by Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful and the many elements of it, really trying to capture the fantasy, the frivolous, the glamour, the fashion side of it.” It’s available to buy at Shoescribe now for $695.

Rousseau is not alone in designing for Oz. Shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood designed four shoes for Selfridges inspired by Oz. They will be available in Selfridges Shoe Carnival department until April 21st.
HSN has teamed up with a number of designers including Naeem Kham and Badgley Mischka for a complete fashion and accessories collection inspired by the movie. That full collection is mostly available now in advance of OZ’s March 8th theatre release.
