Known for his sudden tantrums and quick temper, 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin may be hosting a weekly talk show on MSNBC. The channel has agreed to give the 55-year-old actor a coveted show during Friday night primetime, right at 10 PM. After seven seasons as Jack Donaghy on the sitcom, we’ve become familiar with Baldwin- and it seems NBC has as well, deciding to give the star his own slot.
With his always outspoken and sometimes offensive views on everything and everyone, it seems that Alec Baldwin might be natural choice for a controversial political talk show. In the past, the actor has lost his temper on a flight, at his teenage daughter Ireland, and at British writer George Stark over Twitter when Stark claimed Baldwin’s wife Hilaria was tweeting at the funeral of James Gandolfini.
How will the new Alec Baldwin show fare on TV? We’re not sure, but we’re planning to tune in when it airs- just to hear the colourful commentary which is surely in store.
