It’s time to start guessing baby girl names for Kate Middleton and Prince William’s first baby. Kate Middleton may have accidentally let out that she and her husband, Prince William, are expecting a baby girl. While visiting the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England yesterday, a local well-wisher named Diane Burton gave Kate a white teddy bear for her baby-to-be. “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d–” said Kate in response, before stopping herself, according to Us Weekly. Another bystander reportedly asked Kate if she meant to say “daughter,” to which Kate allegedly replied, “We’re not telling.”
This is, of course, leading everyone to believe that Kate Middleton is having a baby girl. We imagine that saying “we’re not telling” means that the Royal parents-to-be actually know the sex of their baby. Of course, “I’ll take that for my d–” could very well mean “I’ll take that for my dog.” Kate and William have a dog together named Lupo, but isn’t giving a teddy bear to a dog a strange thing to say you’re going to do with a gift, even if it’s the truth? Is that why she stopped herself from saying “dog”? We’ll have to wait another four months to find out. Kate is five months pregnant, which is right around the time when doctors are able to tell expectant parents the sex of their baby.
