Canadian boxer and legend George Chuvalo will receive the key to the city of Toronto today. Mayor Rob Ford will present Chuvalo with the key at city hall at 11 am. Back in the day, Chuvalo fought Muhammad Ali at Maple Leaf Gardens in the 1966 ‘Battle of Toronto.’ In his impressive career, he fought 93 bouts, which included high-profile fights against Joe Frazier and George Foreman. Chuvalo is already an inductee in the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame, but the key to his hometown is just icing on the cake.
