We’re finally going to get to see Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ wedding photos! That’s right. Even though the gorgeous couple tied the knot back in September, photos of their dream-like nuptials have yet to surface… until now. Well, any day now that is. Martha Stewart Weddings has the exclusive rights to the hotly anticipated Blake Lively wedding photos. How did the Queen of All Things Domestic score such a hot story? Martha Stewart and her team actually helped plan Blake and Ryan’s wedding, that’s how! Martha is running the photos with an accompanying story on the wedding in the December issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. We have a feeling this will be a record-breaking issue for Martha, in terms of the number of copies sold. Pretty much every girl (and the odd guy) who tunes into Gossip Girl every week and looks at Serena van der Woodsen as a style icon will definitely want to follow in Blake Lively’s footsteps when she plans her own future wedding. And if Blake turns out to be the timeless star that critics and fashion designers alike are predicting she will be, then the Blake Lively wedding issue of Martha Stewart Weddings will be a collector’s item.
Normally, it’s the September issues of magazines that we look forward to all year long. We’re always stoked to find out who scored the cover of Vogue and what innovative photographer V and W magazine decided to work with. We can’t believe the most hyped magazine of 2012 is going to be a December issue… and an issue of Martha Stewart Weddings, no less!
The issue will be out any day now, given that December issues will be out in the next few days. Here’s what we’re most excited about seeing in the Martha Stewart Weddings December issue:
1) Blake Lively’s Marchesa Wedding Gown
We’ve had to envision this in our heads for months now that we almost think we already know what it looks like. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, co-designers of Marchesa, released a statement about the Blake Lively wedding dress back in September, describing it as “a hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery.” As for the bridesmaids, they were also in Marchesa, “custom-made blush silk chiffon gowns with crystal embroidered detail.”

2) Blake’s Custom Christian Louboutins Wedding Shoes
Christian Louboutin loves Blake Lively so much, he’s even named a shoe after her called “the Blake.” We can only imagine what his gorgeous custom-made shoes for Blake Lively’s wedding day would look like. Since Blake is obsessed with Disneyland and all things Disney, we definitely think Blake’s wedding shoes will look like they were made for a Disney princess.
3) Ryan Reynolds’ Burberry Tuxedo
Blake might get all the credit for having designer friends, but the equally gorgeous Ryan Reynolds has friends in fashion too. Ryan and his groomsmen all wore Burberry for Ryan and Blake’s big wedding day, and Ryan topped off his look with custom-made leather suspenders by his good friend Christopher Bailey.
4) The Notebook Setting
It’s no secret that one of Blake Lively’s favourite movies is The Notebook, and also that she once dated actor Ryan Gosling — you know, the other hot Canadian Ryan — but let’s not go there. Blake and Ryan decided to tie the knot at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina where The Notebook was filmed. Given that Ryan Reynold previously tied the knot to Scarlett Johansson in his home province of British Columbia in the picturesque Tofino on the west side of Vancouver Island, we’d have to assume that Boone Hall Plantation is pretty spectacular, in order to compete with that.
5) The Dessert Table
Blake loves to bake, so she definitely has a refined palate when it comes to sweets. Blake and her beau Ryan hired Bakehouse Bakery Cafe to cater their wedding day desserts. The bakery told gossip blogger Perez Hilton: “We did the mini chocolate bun cakes with a chocolate ganache in the middle. We also did our s’more bars, which are homemade vanilla marshmallow with a graham cracker crust and our chocolate ganache. We made enough for 65 people.”
6) The Wedding Cake
As if the dessert table wasn’t enough, the couple also had a $3,000 wedding cake by Maggie Austin Cakes, that was shipped in from Maryland.
7) The Famous Wedding Guests
Blake is still very close friends with America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel, her costars from both 2005′s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and 2008′s The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. All three of her besties made it to South Carolina to see Blake get hitched. We still can’t believe none have them have even leaked a photo on Twitter either! Oh well, the wait was worth it. We’ll post photos as soon as they’re available!
