How To Get A Winter-Inspired Snowflake Manicure

With snow falling on the ground and the seasons quickly changing from autumn leaves to winter frost, we think it’s a perfect time to update your manicure to keep up with the weather. Here’s a look at some gorgeous snowflake nail art to get you into the spirit of the season:

You will need nail colour in periwinkle blue (try Lady Muck by butter London), a solid white (we suggest Alpine Snow by OPI), and a luminous silver sparkle such as It’s Frosty Outside by OPI) along with a good quality top coat. To get that intricate snowflake pattern, you’ll need a stamping kit such as the Konad Nail Art set.

1) Start off by filing clean and fingernails into a smooth rectangular shape. Once your nails are shaped, apply periwinkle polish to each finger except for the index finger. Apply that shimmery silver to the nails on the index finger instead for a bit of a change in colour scheme.

2) Next, you will move on to the stamping kit after applying top coat to each nail. Take the silver stamp itself and apply the white nail polish onto the snowflake motif.

3) Carefully apply the white polish using the stamping tool onto each fingernail on your right hand. Repeat the process for your left hand, giving yourself some time in between to allow the polish to dry.

4) You should now have a lovely pattern in place. Finish off with a clear top coat to preserve your hard-earned artwork. Happy winter!
