Canada celebrated excellence in hairdressing last night at the L’Oreal Color Trophy Awards, and we were there to experience the action! Canada’s biggest hairdressing competition boasts top stylists from across the country competing for the esteemed title and the prize.
The high-end gala featured the finalists who competed live onstage for the winning title. The chosen styling masters were randomly assigned to models and instructed to create an “it” look based on their creativity and intuitive inspiration. The stylists battled it out with innovative live hairdressing to create fashion-forward results. The winner of the Masters competition was Silas Tsang of Blushes. While the prestigious Color Trophy Award ultimately went to Salon Guylaine Martel Artistes Coiffeurs!
The real showstopper of the night was the International Artistic Presentation by the renowned L’Oreal Professionnel Artist, Eric Zemmour. In his presentation of fall trends from the L’Oreal team, models dazzled in shimmery metallics as he brilliantly created hair masterpieces live on stage.
We had a fabulous time and were truly inspired by the artistry and creativity of hairdressing!
