AnnaLynne McCord took to Twitter on Friday to announce that she’s “over Hollywood’s perfection requirement” and tweeted a photo of herself without makeup, along with her hair naturally curly, just the way nature intended. We love that AnnaLynne didn’t feel shy about showing off her natural beauty, even if she had a few blemishes on her skin when she took the photo. Actually, that was kind of the point of AnnaLynne’s tweet: to make us regular girls feel human for having the odd pimple!
AnnaLynne’s full tweet said: “I woke up this morning and decided I’m over Hollywood’s perfection requirement. To all my girls (and boys) who have ever been embarrassed by their skin! I salute you! I’m not perfect–and that’s okay with me!”
AnnaLynne even boarded a plane to Israel on Sunday at New York’s JFK airport and posed for photographers with no makeup on her skin. You gotta love a girl who keeps her word!
Beyonce also took to her Tumblr recently to post photos of herself celebrating her birthday on a cruise in the South of France with husband Jay-Z on September 4th.
Is it just us or does Blue Ivy’s Mom actually look better without makeup on? We love the way her hair dries naturally in the sun as well. The makeup-free look definitely suits Beyonce.
Heidi Klum recently posed for an ad for BBC Children in Need BearFaced campaign in Britain that encouraged women to go without makeup on November 9th to raise money for children in need.
Wow, we have to say, we commend AnnaLynne McCord, Beyonce and Heidi Klum for their bravery! It takes a lot sometimes to go to the grocery store without makeup, so we can’t imagine what it must feel like to know that millions of people will see a photo of you without makeup. Either, we think they all promote a very healthy idea that we’re all human, and we shouldn’t rely on products to hide who we are; only to enhance our features instead.
