7 Canadian Male Athletes To Watch At The 2018 Winter Olympics
The 2018 Winter Olympics are almost here! Kicking off on February 9, Canadians across the country are more than ready to cheer on their athletes in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Canada has a very strong delegation at the games and the athletes representing Team Canada will compete against some of the world’s best, and we are truly excited to see the culmination of their talents, on the ice and slopes. From figure skaters, to hockey players to snowboarders, see below for our roundup of the 7 male athletes to watch at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Mikhael Kingsbury: Age 25. Freestyle Skier. Considered one of the most accomplished mogul skiers of all time, Mikhael has won Gold at every World Cup stop since January 2017.
Erik Guay: Age 36. Alpine Ski Racer. Canada’s most accomplished alpine ski racer with 25 World Cup podium finishes and three World Cup championships.
Max Parrot: Age 23. Snowboarder. Won a third gold medal at 2018 X Games.
Alex Harvey: Age 29. Cross-country skier. Looking to be the first Canadian man to win an Olympic medal in his sport. Alex picked up his first World Cup medal in January.
Chris Del Bosco: Age 35. Freestyle Skier. In December 2017, Chris earned his 10th career World Cup victory and 26th podium at the World Cup season-opener.
