August may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the summer activities are over. Many events are taking place across Canada during the Labour Day Weekend. Grab your friends and family and enjoy what is left of summer, whether you prefer a festival, concert or parade. Real Style has gathered all the must go-to events during the Labour Day Weekend.

Toronto

Toronto’s annual BuskerFest will be taking place at Woodbine Park. There will be over 100 performers in attendance, including street acts, sketch artists, artisans and musicians all there in support of Epilepsy Toronto. That’s not the only festival that will be taking place; Artfest will also be taking over in the Distillery District. Enjoy live music while taking a look at the work of local artists. If you’re a fan of all things sci-fi and comic books, then you’re in luck because Fan Expo is coming to Toronto. Many actors will be in attendance, including the cast of Stranger Things.

Montreal

Montreal will be hosting their first ever Electro Parade. It will be a day dedicated to partying and electronic beats, as there will be international DJs and many dancers. If you find comfort in food, then check out YUL EAT, a food festival with over a dozen local chefs. What’s great about YUL EAT is that the World Press Photo Exhibit is only ten minutes away. Featuring images from photo journalists, it will be taking place at Bonsecours Market.

Vancouver

Vancouver’s annual fair, the Pacific National Exhibition, is the perfect place to go before the summer ends. Grab your friends and enjoy the amusement rides and eat all the cotton candy you want. The IHeartRadio Beach Ball will be taking place on September 3rd at the PNE, where musicians like Alessia Cara and Liam Payne will be performing. If you just want to relax and enjoy some music, there will be bands on the beach, at the nearby resort town Harrison Hot Springs.
