It wouldn’t be summer in Toronto, without Toronto’s annual Caribbean Caribana festival. Caribana has become a tradition since 1967, and is now one of the biggest cultural festivals in North America. More than a million tourists will be expected to come and enjoy the many events taking place from August 3 to August 7.

If you’re with friends, then don’t forget to attend the King and Queen Parade, where the Caribana Mas Bands will perform and you’ll have a chance to see all the colourful and intricate costumes others are wearing. You can’t miss the Grande Parade 2017 as it is one of the biggest events of the festival. The parade will start at the Exhibition Place and will continue along the Lakeshore.  There will be live performances to keep up that feel good party atmosphere that so many people love about the festival.

In addition to Cabana Pool Bar, many nightclubs in Toronto will be hosting Caribbean themed events. From a boat cruise on Lake Ontario to endless nights of partying, Caribana offers an opportunity to soak up colourful costumes, spicy food and embrace the beats in the air.
