The British football team is going to be looking in more fashionable soon thanks to the help of Dolce & Gabbana. The design duo is going to be designing a line of suits for the men of England’s Chelsea Football Club. Dolce & Gabbana has worked out a three year deal to create three piece suits for all of the men on the football team to wear while they aren’t kicking the ball around according to fashion news. The fashion designers will also be redecorating the lounge and other areas of the stadium.
Angela Missoni may be stepping down as creative director of her line. In an interview with Vogue, Angela Missoni said she is ready to try new things in her life. She says her daughter Margherita Missoni will be allowed to take over the fashion line when she is ready. Anglea Missoni has led the fashion line since 1996 when her own mother stepped down.
To help celebrate the 20th anniversary of menswear designing, CNN will be hosting a fashion news special and backstage look at designers Dolce & Gabbana.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana gave CNN an insiders look at the fashion design team at home, fashion shows and at their celebration in Milan. Tonight fashion fans will get a rare look at the men behind the fashion in a 30 minute CNN special.

Fashion retailer Esprit has hired one of the world’s hottest supermodels for their fall/winter 2010-2011 campaign. Coco Rocha, along with Anne Vyalitsyna and Missy Rayder, are the faces of the new Esprit campaigns. Dolce & Gabbana have teamed up with Bacardi for an interesting collaboration. The new Bacardi Dolce & Gabbana Martini will be debuting this week at Milan menswear fashion week. To celebrate the new drink, Dolce & Gabbana have opened bars in their Milan and Shanghai stores. Bacardi will be exclusively selling the new Martini.
Fashion designer Christopher Lemaire has a big year ahead of him. It was previously announced that the fashion designer would be moving from Lacoste to replacing Jean-Paul Gaultier at Hermes. Now Christopher Lemaire has booked his first haute couture show. The fashion designer will be showing in Paris during Haute Couture week. He will be showing on July 6th before Giorgio Armani Prive.
Fashion designer Alexander Wang is planning a new fashion line and store. Alexander Wang announced he will create a new line of fashion essentials. The line will launch with his resort collection and includes pants, jackets and shirts. He also plans to open a new store in New York. Alexander Wang hasn’t revealed the location yet, but says he has the space already.
Fashion line Dolce & Gabbana have been getting a lot of press for their new campaign starring Madonna, but fashion news sites report they are already looking towards their next models. Fashion news sources say Dolce & Gabbana are considering singer Rihanna as their next muse. Rihanna has taken the fashion world by storm with her daring and edgy style. Apparently Dolce & Gabbana have taken notice.
Clothing store and fashion brand Lacoste is going to help you update your wardrobe tomorrow. On June 3rd, you can trade in your old summer shirts at Lacoste for a new shirt or discount. For every shirt given to Lacoste, USA television network will donate $10 to Doctors Without Borders. At the New York Lacoste store at Greenley Square Park you can get a gift card for a new shirt at Lacoste. At any other Lacoste store you will get a 20% off coupon.
This week everyone was talking about Alicia Key’s dress at the Keep A Child Alive Black Ball benefit. Alicia Keys wore this one of a kind Dolce & Gabbana dress with a huge ruffled skirt and studded heels. Many people thought Alicia Keys was hiding a baby bump under all of that fabric and it turned out that she announced she was pregnant the very next day. The fashion critics are still out on whether the look is hot or not… what do you think?
Karl Lagerfeld announced that he is teaming up with the fashion label Hogan for a special Spring/Summer 2011 project. News hasn’t been released on what the special project will be. Hogan is known for their leather handbags and shoes. It’s speculated that Karl Lagerfeld will bring his style to their products.
Last week Madonna announced her first clothing line, now she has more fashion news. Madonna has signed a deal to create sunglasses with Dolce & Gabbana. Six co-designed shade will be released in May under the MDG logo. People reports the designs include retro black shades and gold and silver frames. This is a piece of a long list of collaborations between Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana that include the recent ad campaign together.
A $1.5 million dress will be the spotlight of Miami Fashion Week next week. The gown was designed by Jad Ghandour and Danasha Luxury as the ultimate red carpet gown. Sketches of the dress show an airy silver gown with a handset made of diamonds and 18k gold. It is locked away until March 20th when a secret celebrity will wear it on the runway.
Dolce & Gabbana have been the talk of Milan Fashion Week which wrapped up yesterday.
Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection was the 50th fashion collection for the design pair. This is also their 25th year showing at Milan Fashion Week and the show celebrated this incredible feat.
The designers stayed true to their traditional looks of black, silk, and lace with a smattering of their signature leopard animal prints. The first part of the collection showed fitted jackets with sexy and very short lacy skirts. Followed with an homage to Chanel with Chanel style suits and continued the lady like fashion trend for fall echoed by other designers with demure fitted over the knee polka dot dresses.
When we look back at the 2009 fashion trends, daytime sequins were definitely a stand out trend.
Everyone and everything was sparkling with sequins throughout 2009. Tops, skirts and even our handbags and accessories were adorned with something that shimmers. As we pass through the holiday season, we are seeing no end to the sequined fashion trend. All major designers showed sequins and other embellishments for this season and for spring 2010 including Pink Tartan, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada.

There have been rumours that the actress needs money for a long time, but so far there is no real explanation as to why Lindsay has decided to empty out her closet to the public. Lindsay was recently in India making a documentary with the BBC, so maybe she was affected by the culture there and wanted to purge.
They also say the money is going to charity, but which charity is unknown.
Up right now, the sale includes two pairs of cute suede Marc Jacobs boots for $400.00, a pair of bright blue Dolce & Gabbana sandals for $195.00, a Zac Posen t-shirt for only $35.00 and a $50.00 pair of pajamas, among other designer pieces.
You can also get stuff from Lindsay’s sister Ali and her brother Michael Jr. who are joining in the fun. Ali has some great pieces available from Chloe and DSquared.
So the real question is would you want to own Lindsay Lohan’s old clothes?
The New York Post announced that V Magazine will be featuring plus-size models for its January issue.
Their shoot will include Crystal Renn, the world’s highest paid plus sized model. She has appeared in ads for Dolce & Gabbana and walked for Jean Paul Gaultier all at a healthy 165 lbs. Renn also wrote a book called Hungry about her days as a size 0 model with an eating disorder.
Rumour has it that the V shoots will be both clothed and nude. Photographers for the V Magazine plus-size spread are said to include Terry Richardson, Bruce Weber and Karl Lagerfeld. If Karl is really a part of this shoot this might signify a change of heart for the designer who previously said“no one wants to see round women.”
Glamour magazine also featured plus-size models recently. A number of plus-size models stripped down to bare all in the November issue of Glamour.
