Alexander McQueen is a London fashion designer, known for his bold and often non conventional style.

“Fashion is a form of storytelling, this is what we do here. This is what motivates me”

CanadaStyle – Alexander McQueen FASHION SHOW REVIEW: 

“Medieval Fantasy in Space”:

Silhouette : hourglass with short skirt lengths and cinched in waists. Skirts are draped or ruffled, exagerated structural shapes. Shoulders sharp and slightly extended.

Fabrics: rich brocades, silks, sequins, some lighter weight chiffons for skirt ruffles

Colors: gold, brown, blue, multihue and taupe gray, prints – very rich often intermixed 

Shoes: 7 inch booties- not wearable
