FASHION DESIGNER: Joeffer Caoc Profile

joeffer caoc runway.jpg Joeffer Caoc, three-time winner of the Canadian Designer of the Year award, is one of the nation’s most beloved fashion designers. A favorite among film and music personalities and fashionistas alike, his classic design elements fused with modern aesthetics keeps his line in-demand and cutting-edge. Flare Magazine even named him “King of the Canadian Fashion Industry.”

Caoc began his design career as the protégé of celebrated Canadian designer Lida Baday. He launched his own line in 1995 and has been receiving media accolades and support ever since.

Unexpected, artistic and architectural detailing is Joeffer Caoc’s signature. Intricate yet subtle tucking, fluid lines, drapery, pleating, asymmetry, and gathering, combined with meticulous fit and classic tailoring, create truly unique pieces with enduring style. The fit and unconventional detailing of Joeffer Caoc’s garments are truly exceptional.

Caoc’s much-lauded Fall 2009 line is a tribute to the inspiring women in his life. Subtle hues popped against bold reds and metallic sheens. The perfect day dress, graphic prints and architecture-inspired tailoring defined the key looks in the season’s collection. Shown to a packed house at Toronto Fashion Week, words like “love” and “impeccable” were thrown around by fashion critics who couldn’t help but fall for his masterful pieces.

I am not sure where you could wear the metalic piece but the other two look great. Perfect outfits on their own but you could easily mix and match with other pieces to get great looks.
