Teen Pop Sensation Justin Bieber is soon to be a T.V. star. He’s signed on to guest star on the hit CBS series CSI. In the September 23rd episode CBS tells us that Bieber “will play Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother-a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.” CBS also teases that this will not be the only episode Bieber is in. They are hoping it turns into a multi-episode story arc.
Halle Berry is the latest star to lend her voice to the Fox animated series The Simpsons. According to EW.Com The actress will play herself in a story which see her present an Academy Award to both Bart Simpson and his dad Homer. The episode is set to air in early 2011.
TMZ.Com is reporting that Jon and Kate Gosselin have settled their custody battle. Even though terms of the settlement have not be released a source tells the website, “An official agreement between Jon and Kate has been reached and they will be working together for the benefit of their children.”
Kate Gosselin gets a lot of flack in the press for everything from not being a good dancer to not being a good mom. This morning she appeared on the Today Show to defend her choice to be on Dancing With The Stars and not at home with her kids.
Kate Gosselin said, “I’ve got to work harder now than ever because I am a single mom. In my heart I’m always in my kitchen, baking and cooking for my kids, and I’ll always be there. It’s a struggle to be here [in New York], to be anywhere. The emotion that you see is because I would rather be at home with them.
“I have to work. I have to provide for them. And it’s a struggle that every working mom, especially single moms, go through, and I’m really feeling it now, and it’s really hard.”
Any parent who has had to raise one child alone will feel for Kate’s struggle to do the right thing. Forget about trying to provide for eight children, that is a whole other level.
This all stemmed from a new Gosselin court battle that is brewing. Jon Gosselin now wants custody of his eight kids. Jon claims Kate abuses the terms of their custody agreement. He even went so far as to call her an absentee parent for appearing on the television show.
If it makes Jon feel any better, Kate might not be around for long from what we’ve been seeing.
Jon Gosselin settled his lawsuit with TLC yesterday out of court. Both parties were suing each other, but the pair came to an agreement. The terms are not being released.
Back in October, TLC sued Jon Gosselin for breach of contract when he made public appearances everywhere that would take him. TLC felt it violated their contract and looked bad according to People Magazine. Meanwhile Jon Gosselin counter-sued the television network for damaging his reputation.
Both suits have now been dropped. RadarOnline reports that Jon Gosselin couldn’t afford the expensive lawyer fees it would cost him to go through trial.
They also say that Jon has agreed to let TLC resume filming his children. Does this mean a return of Jon & Kate Plus 8? We will have to see. TLC previously talked about filming Kate Plus 8, so this show could be back on. This could be the return of daily news about the Gosselin’s since they have dropped off the radar recently. Let’s hope not.
Jon Gosselin claims that he returned home to New York on Boxing Day after spending time with his kids to find that his apartment had been broken into and vandalized. All evidence being revealed seemed to point to his ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman.
Now Hailey Glassman is telling the press that the whole event is just a publicity stunt. The New York Post reports that TMZ was alerted of the break in before the police.
Hailey Glassman swears she did not shred his clothes and ransack his apartment. She does admit to writing the note that they found in his home, but not to stabbing it to a dresser with a butcher knife.
Her lawyer said, “To me, it appears to be a huge publicity stunt. It appears that somebody is trying to frame my client, Hailey Glassman, because she didn’t take anything from that apartment that she was not entitled to take with her. I don’t see any truth in what is circling around in the media against my client.”
Jon Gosselin may have a bad reputation, but this would be a new low for the reality television star dad if it’s all a publicity stunt.
After their infamous battles, Jon and Kate Gosselin are finally divorced. Maybe now, we won’t have to hear about their domestic disputes every week.

Kate Gosselin released a statement saying “I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on the children… This has been a challenging transition for all of us, but I am confident that we will move ahead with the important task of restructuring our lives.”
Jon has to go back to court soon to smooth out his other legal issues with TLC over claims that he broke his contact by making media appearances. So his troubles aren’t over yet.
In the oddest pairing, Jessica Simpson is rumoured to be dating Smashing Pumpkin singer Billy Corgan. The pair, who are 12 years apart in age, apparently bonded over their faith. Reports say she is happy to be back on the dating scene. Opposites attract, right?

Jon and Kate Gosselin sat on their couches to talk about the end of the show, the future and what they have learned.
Kate Gosselin was clearly a little shaken up and sad about the end of the show. She said that it is too soon. Maybe for her, but some of us have had just about enough of the drama.
Jon Gosselin talked about the changes he has gone through. He said that he reverted back to his 20’s to try to get back some of his youth, but he is learning now how to balance it. He said, “We’re going to strive to be the best parents we can. Not for our sake, but for our kids sake.”
At least someone is thinking about the kids this time. Hopefully now things can quiet down on the Jon and Kate home front.
TLC is taking Jon Gosselin to court for his little stunt of stopping filming of Jon & Kate Plus 8. Remember? He said it was harmful to the kids. He also did a lot of interviews and television appearances, which are allegedly a breach of the contract he signed with TLC.
Now Jon Gosselin is countersuing TLC for $5 million.
RadarOnline guesses that Jon Gosselin’s countersuit will say that he is not able to make a living under the tight TLC contract. The TLC suit already says that Jon is free to go back to the job he had before he became a reality tv star. Ha! He couldn’t live with the cameras following him. But this is all just speculation until the actual lawsuit comes out.
Jon Gosselin goes to trial with TLC on December 14th. It should be interesting.
Last night Kate Gosselin opened up on TLC in a one-hour special interview with Natalie Morales. In the interview she revealed that she now knows she was tough with husband Jon Gosselin a lot of the time.
“I was very hard on him and I would never deny that. I felt like a lot of weight rested on my shoulders…I was wrong to treat him that way. Was it good, healthy and wonderful? No. Am I proud of those moments that were captured? No.”
Kate Gosselin also told Natalie Morales in the interview that there is no one in her life that she can trust anymore including her family. She admits that she still loves Jon. They were together for 10 years and have 8 kids together it’s inevitable.
Kate says that her priorities stay with her kids during this tough divorce and she hopes the show will be able to go on, because now she is stuck in this whirlwind of publicity that she never expected when she signed up for the reality show. She would have no job, but a lot of attention if it ended.

How about when you halt production on your television show, but then invite the press to come witness the first time you come home. And let them stream it live on their website. And agree to call 5 minutes before you get there so they can be ready.

As if this whole Jon and Kate Gosselin divorce wasn’t hard enough, now they are throwing around serious accusations.
Kate claims that Jon took $200,000 out of their bank account leaving her without enough money to pay the bills or buy food for the kids. She is taking him to court today because since they are in the middle of a divorce neither of them were allowed to take that money.
Jon’s lawyers say that he hasn’t taken any more money over the past few months than he needed to survive, approximately $175,000.
This whole divorce is starting to feel more like a ploy for attention every day. Kate says the kids cried when she told them the show was being put on hold until they sorted this business out. Crying kids should be the wake up call for them to grow up!
Now that they are working him out of the show and his wife is divorcing him, Jon Gosselin needs to get control back. So he’s ordering a cease & desist on TLC to stop taping Jon & Kate Plus 8 and get off his property
ET learned from Jon’s lawyer that he felt his family “would be in a mortal accident … the victims of a trainwreck” if he didn’t step in. He’s even going so far as to claim that they don’t have the right permits to film and that compensation isn’t being allocated to the kids. He also says the station needs his permission to allow the kids to film the new show Kate Plus 8.
He says it will be “detrimental” to his kids to keep filming. He didn’t care so much when he was on the show did he?
Jon also wants to hold off on his divorce to regain control over the family’s future.
He may have a few valid points but as if this wasn’t messy enough. Is anyone thinking about the kids anymore?
TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 will be losing a member next month. Want to guess who it is? Yep, that’s right, daddy Jon Gosselin has been dropped from the show with his name in the title.
According to People, the show will now just be called Kate Plus 8.
Maybe this has to do with the fact that Jon is no longer the role model father he started the show as. It also might have to do with rumours that the show might be getting chopped. Ratings soared for the infamous divorce episode, but have dropped dramatically since then.
TLC says the new show will focus on Kate’s role as a single mom.
Kate is already looking for a new job. She’s been hosting The View lately and has apparently filmed the pilot of a new show with Paula Deen.
