This morning celebrity news sites are all still talking about Lee Dewyze’s “surprise” win on American Idol last night. It seems a lot of people though Crystal Bowersox would pull ahead.
While all of the contestants hopefully get a day of rest after the season of American Idol, let’s recall some of our favourite moments from the American Idol finale last night.
First of all Bret Michael shocked everyone by showing up to perform. Bret Michaels sang his hit “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” with Casey James. It was a nice low key performance. For a guy who has been in and out of the hospital for weeks, Bret Michaels looked pretty good. Watch it here:
Also, Janet Jackson made a big appearance performing two songs on the show. Janet Jackson was also showing off her new short haircut that looks fantastic on her. Here is Janet’s performance:
Finally one of the best performances of the night came from Lee Dewyze, Crystal Bowersox and Joe Cocker. Right before they announced the winner, the contestants sang “With A Little Help From My Friends” with Joe Cocker himself. The trio had great harmonies and great chemistry. Check it out for a last look back at American Idol:
This is it! Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox are ready to battle it out for the American Idol title. These two have been miles above the rest of the American Idol contestants for weeks. Who will take it though? The cute paint salesman or the hippy mom? Let’s see…
The first songs were a repeat of Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox’s favourite songs. Lee sang “The Boxer” again. It was good, but not great. He needs to be great to win American Idol. We know he has it in him. He needs to pick it up from here on out to win. Crystal Bowersox took on Janis Joplin’s “Me And Bobby McGee.” Again, it was good, but it could have been better. At least Crystal was really showing us who she would be on an album after American Idol with that song. She picked a song that perfectly suits her voice. Crystal Bowersox may be a little bit in the lead after the first song, but just barely. American Idol is still up in the air. Either could win the whole television show.
For the second round on American Idol executive producer Simon Fuller chose the songs. Lee Dewyze was given “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M. This song was perfect for him. I wish he would have done more with it. He sounded ok, but he didn’t blow us away again. He used the choir and tried to make it big. He didn’t need it. He should have pulled back and just let it be him and his acoustic guitar. The song and his voice would be enough. Crystal Bowersox sang Alannah Miles’ “Black Velvet” like a seasoned pro. Crystal gave it her all on that stage. She hit the biggest notes she has all television season. She wants to win American Idol. With one round left to go, it’s looking like Crystal Bowersox just might do that.
Now round three… the winner’s song. This is the song we will hear on the radio after American Idol is off television. Lee Dewyze sang “Beautiful Day” by U2. He gave it his all about halfway through. It was a big song and a big effort. I think it will sound better recorded, because there were a few slip up moments on television. Crystal Bowersox sang “Up To The Mountain” with tons of emotion and soul. It was beautiful. For his final critic, Simon Cowell called it “outstanding.” It was a little slow though for a single. People will probably want to hear a song they know and not a slow song they haven’t heard on the radio.
So who is going win? It’s honestly a toss up. Crystal Bowersox has been consistently good. We know what her album is going to sound like. Lee Dewyze has grown up on this show and become an amazing performer. He is the kind of singer I want to listen to. Lee Dewyze has never been in the bottom two. Crystal Bowersox has been. She may have out sang him tonight, but he has a LOT of fans. I have no idea who will win. I hope Lee Dewyze wins. They are both worthy American Idol winners.
American Idol is down to three and we are all ready for the main television event. This week the top 3 singers, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Lee Dewyze are singing two songs. The first is chosen by them and the other by an American Idol judge.
Casey James went first with his personal choice. His song “Ok, It’s Alright With Me” by Erik Hutchinson was probably the strangest song choice ever. It was a horrible pick for Casey James. The song was flat and never went anywhere. He needed to blow us away. The song never went anywhere.
Crystal Bowersox picked a great song with Melissa Etheridge’s “Come To My Window.” The song felt rushed and there were some bad notes. She put up a good fight. It was good, but she could have done more. All of the pieces were there they just never came together properly.
Lee Dewyze picked Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man” in the best song choice of the night. This is exactly the type of song he should be singing. The melody showed off his raspy vocals beautifully. It’s hard to not believe that he is going to be the winner on television next week. He has pulled it together as the full package.
Now onto the judge’s choices.
Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson teamed up to pick John Mayer’s “Daughters” for Casey James. This is the type of bluesy singer-songwriter thing I can imagine Casey James doing after American Idol is over, but he never really connected to the lyrics. The vibe was perfect! There was something missing behind the fact that it suited his voice.
Ellen DeGeneres chose Paul McCartney’s “Maybe I’m Amazed” for Crystal Bowersox. Wow, she really pulled it out. Her vocals were amazing! This was probably her best vocal performance so far. She proved that she has a huge voice. She fit it in her gospel style. It was nice to see her without her guitar really singing with all her heart.
Finally Lee Dewyze sang Simon Cowell’s song choice Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” This song has been done tons of times on American Idol (even earlier this season), but never like that. That was the winning song. If you weren’t in love with Lee Dewyze before, you have to be now. His voice combined with the orchestra and choir was amazing. Simon Cowell is looking pretty smug right now!
If Casey James doesn’t go home tomorrow I will be shocked. He just doesn’t have the singing chops to make it a true finale. Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox will make the American Idol finale a true television event. I can’t wait!
The American Idol top 4 performed tonight on television to prove to us who really wanted it. Jamie Foxx mentored the singers giving them more confidence and creating artists. Tonight the singers not only sang on their own, but also in a special duet performance.
Lee Dewyze started this television night off with one of my least favourite songs ever “Kiss From A Rose.” While his singing wasn’t the greatest, he could make me love any song. Jamie Foxx gave Lee more confidence this week than ever before. I never noticed his big blue eyes before. He is smiling and looking at the camera so much more now. I hope that tonight doesn’t ruin his chances to win American Idol.
Michael Lynche sang Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There.” It was ok. It felt like a church performance with the choir behind him. He did acceptable, but a performance like that isn’t going to help him win American Idol.
Casey James sang “Mrs. Robinson” tonight and it was a little boring. I think I know what he was trying to do, but it just wasn’t that interesting. He looked nervous. There isn’t much for to say about him. He is just there.
Crystal Bowersox sang “I’m All Right” and returned to her own style. She’s been off the mark for a few weeks, but this is her return. It might as well be her song. With the guys not performing all that great, Crystal Bowersox might have just pulled back into the front of this television race.
Now to the duets. Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox had the first television duet singing “Falling Slowly” from the movie Once. Wow! This is the must see, must hear performance of the season. It was beautiful. They sounded amazing. These two are your American Idols. Michael Lynche and Casey James’ duet of “Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman” wasn’t nearly as strong. Casey James was much weaker than Michael. It showed Casey’s shortcomings.
Unfortunately, I think Casey James’ pretty blonde reign is coming to an end. Watch television tomorrow to find out if Casey’s time is up.
After putting up a good reality television fight with the big boys (and girl), young Aaron Kelly was eliminated on American Idol last night.
He may not have deserved to go just yet (Casey James dodged a bullet), but for a kid Aaron Kelly had some big shoes to follow. The rest of the American Idol competitors have a lot of stage and singing experience. The final four of Lee Dewyze, Crystal Bowersox, Casey James and Michael Lynche have all played real concerts before. Some have even recorded albums. Aaron Kelly is just starting his musical journey.
Aaron Kelly will probably have a record deal within months. He can follow other Idols into the country music scene where he will do well, maybe very well. A tour with someone like Taylor Swift would be perfect for him. The girls will love him.
Next week Jamie Foxx is the mentor on the television show and the theme is Songs From The Cinema. This could go anywhere. It should be good. The contestants can finally pick something that really suits them.
The American Idol contestants had a big job ahead of them on television tonight. Not only did they have to sing the classic songs of icon Frank Sinatra, but they also had Harry Connick Jr. on stage playing with them. As mentor Harry Connick Jr. not only spoke with the American Idol contestants, but arranged the songs for them. This was a huge bonus for them, but if they fall with this help it is going to look even worse.
Young Aaron Kelly started things off with “Fly Me To The Moon.” His voice sounded good and the arrangement of the song brought out the best of his voice. Regardless it didn’t feel like him. He has a country voice and it would have been nice for him to bring that to the song.
The judges were hard on Casey James. His rendition of “Blue Skies” wasn’t as bad as they said. Yes, he did seem uncomfortable up until about three-quarters of the way through, but the drama of the song suited him. If nothing else I am glad that one of the judges finally called him out on his vibrato. It has been driving me crazy all season. Calling him a lamb might have been harsh though Kara.
Crystal Bowersox was out of her element tonight. With “Summer Wind” she sounded great when she hit the big notes. It felt like it was a part of her that we hadn’t heard yet. No one should judge her because she got dressed up and didn’t play her guitar. She sounded good and looked amazing. Next week she will be back with her regular hippy vibe.
This was big Mike’s week. He was made for these Frank Sinatra songs. Michael Lynche sang “The Way You Look Tonight” exactly how it should be sang. I expected no less. These ballads are his money spot.
I actually think Lee Dewyze might have just won American Idol after tonight. He stayed true to himself and the song while singing “That’s Life.” He had the right swagger. He had amazing vocals. He used the stage. He even smiled! He sounded fantastic. This rocker could really take it all on American Idol.
So who should be worried? Everyone except Lee. Casey James was in the bottom two last week. He needed a great performance tonight. Ladies should take one last look. This will probably be the end for him unless Aaron or Michael take the bullet for him.
It’s country night on American Idol! The top 6 took over the television singing the songs of Canadian country singer Shania Twain on American Idol tonight. While it’s great to have a Canadian mentor, country week is never good. The singers always bomb. It doesn’t help that Simon Cowell doesn’t like country music either, so he’s always extra grumpy.
Lee Dewyze started the night off perfectly. It’s no secret that I love everything Lee sings, but tonight I was worried. He is not a country singer. He made “You’re Still The One” his own. The beginning with just the piano and his voice was beautiful. He is adorable. Maybe tonight won’t be so bad.
Michael Lynche found his money zone. He was made for ballads. He sang “It Only Hurts When I’m Breathing” with lots of emotion. We’ve known since the beginning this was where he belonged. Michael Lynche makes the ladies cry… and they love him for it. It was a little too mushy for my liking, but he did it well.
Casey James has the right tone for this type of music. He showed that by unplugging and singing “Don’t” acoustically. I haven’t been digging Casey lately, but this was fantastic. He wasn’t just playing the guitar and looking pretty for once. He was really singing and giving us his all.
It took along time, but Crystal Bowersox finally slipped up. She put her best effort towards singing “No One Needs To Know,” but I think it was the wrong song. If she was going to sing that song, she should have put a little more fun into it.
This should have been Aaron Kelly’s night. He is the only country contestant. Instead I couldn’t buy it. “You Got A Way” was way too old for him to sing at 17. Things sounded shaky until the bridge. The judges loved him, but I expected a lot more.
Finally Siobhan Magnus ended the show. Again I disagreed with the judges. They huge notes at the end of “Any Man Of Mine” were great, but the rest was bad. It reminded me of bad karaoke. She was off beat and singing funny. Don’t let the big notes distract you from the rest of her singing.
Overall this night of country was pretty good. Tomorrow is a huge toss up. It should be interesting to see who goes. Aaron Kelly and Michael Lynche are probably in trouble. They weren’t that bad, but they are the lowest of the bunch. It could go any way though.
Tonight in the spirit of tomorrow’s Idol Gives Back special the contestants sang inspirational songs. While they weren’t necessarily very inspirational there were some good performances. The quality of singers left on the television show should make it interesting to see who goes home.
Casey James started the night of singing with Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop.” Sure he sounded good. It’s the same old song and dance from Casey week after week. This was a bar performance. His guitar playing was more interesting than his singing. This isn’t going to get him to the finale. He may be in trouble this week because of it.
Next up was Lee Dewyze. I think I fell in love with Lee all over again tonight. His version of “The Boxer” was so amazing. It suited his voice perfectly. It was full of emotion. You could see how much he felt each word. He was practically crying when the judges told him how great he was. His modesty only makes each performance that much better.
We fell off the boat with the next few performances. Tim Urban sang “Better Days” by The Goo Goo Dolls well, but not great. With so few people left, his shortcomings are obvious. This very well could be his final week.
Aaron Kelly also didn’t live up to standards. He aimed high with R Kelly’s “I Believe,” but fell short. That said he did a great job trying. It was a valiant effort. Siobhan Magnus aimed even higher with “When You Believe.” She has a big voice, but it wasn’t big enough. The song felt choppy. The end was great, but it took too long to get to the good stuff.
The judges didn’t like Michael Lynche’s version of “Hero.” I actually think he did a great job at making this Chad Kroeger song his own. It was original. He took a big risk. It paid off. Last time I disagreed with the judges though, Michael almost went home. I hope this isn’t his time.
Crystal Bowersox ended the night with a huge bang. She said she loved singing “People Get Ready,” but no one could expect the amount of emotion she sang it with. She didn’t use any instruments this time and gave a heartfelt performance. It had the perfect gospel vibe for her voice. When she broke down in tears at the end of the song it was the grand finale. Crystal may have just won the whole television show with that song.
Tomorrow is Idol Gives Back. The television show has been known to not send anyone home on Idol Gives Back nights. If someone does go home, it should be Tim Urban. His time has come and gone. He’s got a lot of fans though somewhere, so Casey James, Aaron Kelly or Michael Lynche could take the bullet for him.
Tonight on television, viewers got familiar with the songs of Elvis Presley on American Idol. Former Idol contestant Adam Lambert inspired this year’s group of singers to step up their performances. While there weren’t any mind blowing singing, we saw some new sides of the American Idol singers. Adam Lambert inspired them to change it up because two people will be going home on Thursday.
Crystal Bowersox started the television event off with a gospel version of “Saved.” We saw a more light-hearted side of Crystal. She sounded great and looked like she was enjoying herself.
The fun didn’t last long. Andrew Garcia’s rendition of “Hound Dog” was strange and old fashioned. It had a jazzy feel that didn’t suit his voice. There were moments where he sounded good, but not enough.
The tables have turned for Tim Urban. He sounded great singing “Can’t Help Falling In Love.” It was slow, but nice. He has improved a million times over on American Idol. Whoever has been voting for him all this time is redeemed.
Lee Dewyze blew it out of the water again. His voice is so amazing, I want him to record a cd today. His version of “A Little More Conversation” needed to be sexier, but other than that he is spot on.
Former favourites Aaron Kelly and Siobhan Magnus both fell flat this week. It might have been their song choices. It could have something to do with the fact that they are both trying to be different. While other singers are consistently singing the same thing. These two tried something new and failed.
The judges saved Michael Lynche last week. He proved why tonight. He sang “In The Ghetto” with boat loads of conviction and honesty. He has to be safe this week!
Katie Stevens may not be. She sang “Baby What Do You Want Me To Do” for the judges. It was so predictable right down to the head bobs. It was too theatrical and had some shaky notes.
Casey James finished off Elvis Presley night on television with the oldie “Lawdy Miss Clawdy.” It was totally believable. It could have been a Casey James song. It wasn’t a closing performance though. He just seemed to be going through the motions. I want something new and different from him.
Two people are being sent home from the reality television show tomorrow night. I think it may be Andrew Garcia’s time to go. He has been skipping through before. He can’t be saved now. Others who should be concerned are Katie Stevens and Aaron Kelly. With two going home, it could be Tim Urban’s time. It’s reality television though, anything could happen.
On television tonight the American Idol top 9 performed. They had the choice of all of the songs from the John Lennon and Paul McCartney songbook. There were a few great surprises from the singers tonight. Overall we had a good two hours of television, which has been rare on American Idol this season. There were quite a few highlights.
Katie Stevens had one of her best performances this week with “Let It Be.” Michael Lynche changed up “Eleanor Rigby” to make it his own. It probably divided people in their opinion. I loved it. With the strings on stage he really blew it out of the water.
I had been getting sick of Casey James’ same old song and dance. This week though he showed another side of himself. His performance of John Lennon’s “Jealous Guy” was honest and vulnerable. He should definitely do more of this softer stuff to break things up.
Lee Dewyze ended the night on a great high, even if you were just laughing at the bagpipes. Lee Dewyze has gotten so much more confident. Watching him sing “Hey Jude” was just fun. He was smiling. I was smiling. While I didn’t care for the arrangement much (he left out some of the best parts of the song), he was engaging.
Not everyone was so great. Aaron Kelly was winning me over, but he was weak tonight. Something in his voice didn’t sound as strong as it had. As the song was boring, this could spell trouble for the early favourite. Andrew Garcia has completely lost me. He was fine tonight, but overtly cheesy singing “Can’t Buy Me Love.” I want to love him, but something is turning me off week after week.
Crystal Bowersox was acceptable, but not great. Her problem is that I know what to expect. I don’t want her to change anything because she is great. It is just predictable. I already know what her album will sound like. I expect to love it. I want something unexpected. Siobhan Magnus was also ok. It wasn’t her strongest performance either. I don’t like her upper register. Those notes just don’t hit me well. She sang “Across The Universe” with a lot of conviction, so people will love it.
Finally Tim Urban was almost amazing tonight. He started “All My Lovin’” strong with all of the focus on his voice. Then the instruments came in and it got cheesy. The judges liked it. He will probably be around for another week though. He would have probably been around for another week regardless.
It is tough to figure out who is in trouble this week. Tim Urban will be in the bottom three again although he will be safe. Aaron Kelly might be in trouble. The third place could go to a few people Katie Stevens and Andrew Garcia could both take it.
Tonight’s American Idol was the night of horrible song choices. With the contestants being able to pick any song from the Billboard Hot 100, we got the worst choices of any season ever. This was their time to pick a song that defined them and almost all of them failed. Maybe they were confused because Miley Cyrus, who is barely old enough to audition for American Idol, was their mentor.
Lee Dewyze started the night off with a jazzy version of “The Letter.” He sounded good, but that wasn’t him.
From there we moved on to by far the worst performances of the night. Even Paige Miles knew that her vocals were bad for Phil Collins’ “Against All Odd.” It was shaky and pitchy for the entire thing. Then we got Tim Urban’s cheesy version of “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” He might be saved because the little girls love him, but it was too much. His sliding across the floor didn’t help him.
There were strong points in the middle. Even sick, Aaron Kelly pulled it out. Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” was the perfect song choice. He is really winning me over. Crystal Bowersox was the shining star of the night. She had to do Janis Joplin’s “Me And Bobby McGee” eventually. She looked cute and fun while she sang. She’s showing off her personality more each week.
Then things dropped down a bit. Michael Lynche sounded good singing “When A Man Loves A Women,” but he should have found something a bit more fun. Andrew Garcia has lost me. He was once my favourite, but tonight’s “Heard It Through The Grapevine” was the breaking point. He needs help to get back to that sweet spot. I agree with Simon that he doesn’t know who he is.
The rest of the singers on American Idol were acceptable, but I am waiting for these singers to really wow me. Katie Stevens was on the right path with Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” It sounded like she was singing it one note too high though. Casey James had one of the silliest song choices of the night. He sounded good singing “Power Of Love” by Huey Lewis & The News. He needs to spice things up a bit. Didi Benami had an acceptable performance of “You’re No Good.” She will probably be safe, but she’s not winning anymore fans.
Siobhan Magnus finished off the night again. This time she added her big note to Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.” It was good, but it’s getting predictable. She’s so interesting and unique that it hurts to say that. You knew she would do it before it started though.
Paige Miles and Tim Urban should probably get ready to go. Unless there is a miracle, one of them will be leaving tomorrow.
For the first time the American Idol guys and girls went head to head. They started off this section of the competition with songs from The Rolling Stones. While I don’t necessarily like The Rolling Stones, they have a lot of songs that these singers could be creative with.
Michael Lynche had the hard task of opening American Idol. His R&B version of “Miss You” sounded good. I think he will be in trouble because he was first. As the night went on there were some standout performances.
Most of the middle of had mediocre performances. Some of the singers aren’t using the bigger stage and audience to their advantage. Didi Benami and Casey James didn’t wow the way they could have. Didi did the best she has done so far, but again it was still early in the night.
Lacey Brown’s version of “Ruby Tuesday” had the potential to be great. Unfortunately, the arrangement was horrible. It didn’t make any sense. The same can be said for Tim Urban’s version of “Under My Thumb.” He took this classic song and made it reggae. His vocals still don’t come anywhere close to some of the other singers on American Idol and it shows.
Andrew Garcia could also be in trouble, but for him it was because he didn’t do enough. His version of “Gimme Shelter” was flat the whole way. There was nothing interesting about it. He needs to spice things up soon before this early favourite is on the chopping block.
Katie Stevens and Paige Miles also need to bring the energy fast. These young ladies have great vocal ability, but need to shine. Katie Stevens performed “Wild Horses” really well. I think this was her best sounding performance, but there is something missing to keep her out of the top every time. Paige Miles is still completely forgettable in my eyes. She will probably get a lot of sympathy votes for singing with laryngitis tonight.
Finally at the end of the show things really heated up. Siobhan Magnus blew everyone away with “Paint It Black.” She picked one of the best songs to do because she could do so much with it. She again showed off her huge range finishing with that big note.
Lee Dewyze might have bored the judges, but I could have listened to him all day. His version of “Beast Of Burden” was so cool and low key with his acoustic guitar. I love him!
While I still think Aaron Kelly is too young for the show, tonight was probably my favourite vocals from him. I think it had to do with the fact that he wasn’t doing country. He is there for the moms and is going to be around. Haters might as well just accept it.
Crystal Bowersox ended the show strong. She did “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” in her trademark style. She is going to go really far.
Tim Urban, Andrew Garcia and Lacey Brown should be worried for tomorrow night, because regardless of how good they have been they are being out sung by their competitors.
The top 10 girls took to the stage to fight for a spot tonight. Many of the girls are probably in trouble tonight because others were so fantastic.
Crystal Bowersox recovered from her hospital scare yesterday to open the show. Her performance of Creedance Clearwater’s “As Long As I See The Light” showed off her natural, honest talent. She is the kind of girl you want to see in a bar with her guitar.
I disagreed with the judges a lot tonight. They seemed pretty harsh on some of the better performances.
While the judges didn’t like Katie Stevens’ version of “Put Your Records On,” it really showed off how mature her voice is for 17-years-old. Michelle Delamor showed what the judges have been asking for. She changed up Creed’s “With Arms Wide Open” to match her voice, but some of the judges didn’t like it. Katelynn Epperly did a great piano performance of Coldplay’s “The Scientist.” She was captivating, but the judges found her boring.
Lilly Brown got rave reviews from the judges, but I really didn’t get it. She has a cool indie vibe, but something about it just didn’t register with me.
Haeley Vaughn, Lacey Brown, Didi Benami and Paige Miles should be concerned this week. Haeley Vaughn and Didi blew it. They just didn’t sound good at all. Lacey Brown and Paige Miles sounded fine, but just aren’t memorable at all. I actually forgot who Paige Miles was. Being unmemorable is sometimes worse than being bad.
Siobhan Magnus totally blew everyone away when she closed the night with Aretha Franklin’s “Think.” She hit notes the rest of the girls only dream about. Who knew she could do something like that? Everyone is going to be talking about her tomorrow.
We made it to the first live episode of American Idol. It’s been a long journey. For their first real performance, the girls of American Idol didn’t live up to all of the hype they have been getting.
Most of the girls chose the wrong song. The problem is that makes them forgettable. Paige Miles, Ashley Rodriguez, Katelyn Epperly and Didi Benami were all ok, but I’m not going to remember their performance five minutes from now.
There were high points in the show. Lilly Scott sang The Beatles’ “Fixing A Hole” like it was her own song. Her voice is so unique and different. She is not really American Idol material. She may fail when they force her to sing something from a current pop artist.
Michelle Delamor did a safe version of Alicia Keys’ “Falling,” but she proved that she had a big voice. Siobhan Magnus was surprisingly great singing”Wicked Game” by Chris Issak. It was a totally unexpected song choice for this show. She could be one to watch out for.
Crystal Bowersox and Katie Stevens have been personal favourites since they first auditioned. Both of them were strong, but safe. It’s still the first episode. They have time to grow.
There were some low points too. Janell Wheeler could not live up to the pressure of singing Heart’s “What About Love?” Her voice isn’t big enough for the song and sounded shaky. Haeley Vaughn showed promise in the auditions, but she just sounded bad singing The Beatles’ “I Want To Hold Your Hand.” She’s so sweet. I can’t count her out yet. Lacey Brown finally made it to the top 24 and then blew it. Her version of “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac was not good. She seemed surprised, but the song just didn’t suit her voice.
Tomorrow the guys are up for their first live performance. They don’t have the excuse of being first, so the pressure is on.
