Yes! The final 20 have been chosen on So You Think You Can Dance Canada Season 3 and they are now 22. The dancers were just too good and the judges had to add one one girl and one more boy! As episode recaps go, this was a dramatic show, close to 30 amazing dancers were cut! The twin of last year’s top performer Jayme Delly, Jenny so upset and burst out crying when she learned she wasn’t going to make it. ( It really must be heart wrenching for the judges to make these cuts!) Between the American and now the Canadian dance show, there are a lot of tears flowing during the auditions.
The phenom tap dancer Justin Jackson also didn’t make it in. Remember how we told you before how even though you can be a virtuoso in one dance genre , if you are limited to that it will not work for this show where they are looking for very well rounded performers. That’s what happens to many of the B-boys. They do amazing tricks, but often their lack of training kills them in all other categories. In any case, Jean Marc ever the nice guy, asked the tap dancer to perform in the finale of Season 3.
So here are the top finalists of Season 3 So You Think You Can Dance Canada who have been narrowed down from literally thousands of hopefuls from across Canada. It’s an amazing feat in itself and just making the top 22 is a major accomplishment.
