Teen Pop Sensation Justin Bieber is soon to be a T.V. star. He’s signed on to guest star on the hit CBS series CSI. In the September 23rd episode CBS tells us that Bieber “will play Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother-a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an emotional story that will conclude later in the season.” CBS also teases that this will not be the only episode Bieber is in. They are hoping it turns into a multi-episode story arc.
Halle Berry is the latest star to lend her voice to the Fox animated series The Simpsons. According to EW.Com The actress will play herself in a story which see her present an Academy Award to both Bart Simpson and his dad Homer. The episode is set to air in early 2011.
TMZ.Com is reporting that Jon and Kate Gosselin have settled their custody battle. Even though terms of the settlement have not be released a source tells the website, “An official agreement between Jon and Kate has been reached and they will be working together for the benefit of their children.”
American born, Canadian raised character actor Maury Chaykin passed away early Tuesday morning in a Toronto hospital on his 61st birthday following kidney problems.
The Internet Movie Database lists Maury as having played 153 different roles, and his most notable include HBO’s ‘Entourage’, ‘Dances With Wolves,’ ‘A Life Less Ordinary,’ ‘Mystery, Alaska,’ ‘My Cousin Vinny’ and ‘The Mask of Zorro.’ Most of his roles were small character roles, but he did star in a few productions including ‘The Golden Spiders: A Nero Wolfe Mystery’ and ‘Whale Music’. He won a Best Actor Genie for the latter role.
He is survived by his wife Susanna and his daughter Rose.
Spencer Pratt has been known to be pretty out there when it comes to his theories (for instance in 2009 he and his wife Heidi Montag claimed that the 9/11 attacks were an inside job) but now he seems even crazier than ever. Ever since his break up with Heidi he’s gone into seclusion, and had little to no contact with his ex. He recently told x17online.com that ’she ‘doesn’t talk to me… because I’m loco.’
Well it seems like he speaks truly, especially if the recently surfaced pictures of the 26-year old tell the story correctly. Instead of the clean shaven Hollywood pretty boy, we now have a bushy bearded, wild haired man who looks like he’s been lost in the woods for a few months without a razor. People magazine is reporting that this weekend Amanda tweeted “I’m unretired” to her followers.
Back in June Amanda stated that being an actress wasn’t any fun anymore, and that she doesn’t do things that she doesn’t love. At 24 her age is starting to show though as she flips on the decision.

What does the name Isaiah Mustafa mean to you? To many people the name wouldn’t ring any bells, but if you mention the Old Spice guy everyone would know who you were talking about. If you look Isaiah Mustafa up on the imdb you’ll see that he had credits dating back to 2005, but none of the roles have been memorable. Sandra Bullock, Blake Lively, John Goodman, Lenny Kravitz, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and Emeril Lagasse are among the stars asking for people to sign their name and be heard by the government. It’s a program run for Restore The Gulf’s ‘Be the One’ campaign.

Rumors have been flying for the last few days about whether or not former Heroes star Ali Larter was pregnant, and now her rep has confirmed that the rumors are true.
Her rep told People Magazine that “Ali and Hayes are thrilled to be expecting their first child.”
Ali and her husband, fellow actor Hayes MacArthur, were married last August. It was the first marriage for both of them, and this will be their first child. The baby is due this winter.
Ali rose to fame in 1999’s Varsity Blues when she wore a whipped cream bikini in one of the scenes.

Madonna has been cited for noise pollution in London. The funniest thing about it all is that she wasn’t even home. Her staff were throwing a party in her absence. If she is cited for similar offences in the future the Material Girl faces a possible court case, and a fine up to $5,000.
Hayden Panettiere says that there are no problems on the set of Scream 4, contrary to reports that have been coming out. It’s been rumored that there have been cast changes and a lot of arguments over the script. Actress Lake Bell dropped out just before filming began, and there has been a lot of talk about Panettiere being unhappy with the script. She says she’s having a blast filming the movie though, and loves working with director Wes Craven.

One wonders if any pictures will surface of Lohan wearing the jail-issued jumpsuit she will be forced to wear.

It has also been learned that Robert Shapiro, the lawyer most famous for defending O.J. Simpson and who was hired by Lohan last week to represent her, quit the case the night before she was due to surrender. The reasons are unclear, but speculation is that Shapiro told Lohan that he would not represent her unless she agreed to serve her time and not try to appeal her sentence.

Celebrity blog TMZ broke the news that Erin Andrews is now suing a chain of hotels who let Michael David Barrett (her stalker) stay in the room next door to her in Chicago. If that wasn’t bad enough apparently they allowed him to create peephole video of Erin by filming through the hotel room door. Rumour has it he uploaded the peephole video of Erin Andrews to the Internet, but we aren’t going to search to find out if it’s true. If that’s not enough to make you want to stay home every night then I don’t know what is!
Erin Andrews is suing the hotels for $1.2 million for negligence. While suing the whole hotel chain for millions may be over the top, the employee who gave out her room number should probably start looking for a new job.
It’s been a busy few weeks for celebrity marriages. Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher did it, so did Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, and now Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz have tied the knot in a low profile wedding in the Bahamas.
Both Javier and Penélope are Oscar winners (he for No Country for Old Men, and she for Vicky Christina Barcelona), and they have been dating since 2007. It’s been a secret relationship for most part, as neither one of them would comment on it.
Only friends and family attended the small wedding at a friend’s house, and Penélope’s dress was designed by John Galliano.
As reported a week and a half ago Mel Gibson has been accused of making more racist slurs, and now radaronline has reported that they have a copy of the audio and have posted it on their website here. You may or may not be able to hear the audio depending on where you live, but if you are in the U.S. you’ll be able to hear someone who sounds a lot like Mr. Gibson in the midst of a profanity laced racist rant.
Now, radaronline is reporting that the tapes have been subpoenaed by the Los Angeles Police Department due to their ongoing investigation. Mel has been accused of knocking out two of Oksana Grigorieva’s teeth last January when he allegedly punched her in the face. How this managed to avoid being reported at the time is beyond me.
Mel was also dropped by his talent agency over the weekend, so he may have a hard time finding any work at all in the near future.
The Hollywood community is shocked by the accusations, but one star has gone on record to state that he hopes Mel Gibson can move past this. Robert De Niro told an Australia reporter that ”I hope he gets through all this. It’s unfortunate for him. You know?”
