Despite the protesting done by Australian officials, Britney Spears broke the record for ticket sales in Sydney. Britney Spears broke the previous record at Acer Arena held by Coldplay by 7,000 seats. The total: 66,247 seats sold for the four shows. All of the hype about her lip-syncing probably only helped that.

Susan Boyle might have started out as a Youtube star, but now she is a worldwide phenomenon. Her album hit stores this week and first week projections for sales is at 550,000! In a time when everyone just downloads everything for free that is amazing. She will blow the number 2 spot (Lady Gaga) out of the water by 200,000.

Eminem wants to be on X Factor. Not as a contestant, but as a judge. Eminem says he is more global than their current judges, which is true. Most haven’t heard of Dannii Minogue or Cheryl Cole across the pond. He said he could find a hip-hop superstar if invited on the show. He admitted he wouldn’t have time to do a whole season, but wants to do a few episodes. This is the man who brought us 50 Cent, you judge if that is a good thing or not.
