Bath and body company Calgon is celebrating another year by add a whole range of new products to let you pamper yourself in the bath even more.

In time for spring, Calgon has added 30 new bath and body products to their range. New Calgon products include body lotion, body wash, bubble baths, epson salts, mineral salts, bath beads and new body mists. All of the new products will come in Calgon’s Morning Glory scent which is has a floral aroma.

The new Calgon Morning Glory bath and body products contain Vitamin E, aloe and shea butter to sooth your skin.

These new products come in time for the company to relaunch all of their products with a new logo and new packaging. Calgon has been producing bath and body products for customer since 1946, so this new look on their products will take the company into another 60 years hopefully.

1. Protect from the Inside Out
Sun damage causes free radicals, which all edible antioxidants fight. Some work better at protecting against the sun’s rays. Your best bites are reddish-orange foods that are high in lycopene, such as tomatoes, watermelon, pink grapefruit, apricots, and papayas, and foods and beverages that are rich in flavonoids, such as green tea and dark chocolate. You’ll need at least 10 weeks of daily ingestion to optimize the benefits.

2. Seek Shades
Ultrastylish oversize sunglasses are more than just a fashion statement. They also shield the paper-thin skin around your eyes from dangerous UV damage (5 to 10 percent of all skin cancers appear on the eyelids) as well as the formation of fine lines and crow’s-feet. More important, sun exposure can affect the eye itself (specifically the cornea, lens, and retina), causing cataracts and macular degeneration over time.

3. Sport SPF-Wear

To bring your face back to life, there are some basics that always help whether you’re at a spa or your bathroom sink. Firstly, be sure to exfoliate: it can be as simple as adding salt (for oily skin) or sugar (for dry skin) to your face wash or buying one with exfoliating beads in it. It always helps to add a product that exfoliates on the chemical level- with something like fruit enzymes or hydroxy acids- into your regimen for added results. Having microdermabrasion at a medical or day spa is an option that will provide deep exfoliation beyond what you can do at home. Particles of usually either diamond or crystal are applied by a sand blasting technique or with a rotating wand textured with these particles. This treatment freshens and resurfaces with a more dramatic result than at home treatments.

Second, you need to continuously moisturize to have skin perfect for makeup application. If you’re getting a facial at a spa, that’s great because they will both exfoliate and moisture your skin while you’re there. At home, be sure you’re using a formula appropriate for your skin type, like a gel for oily skin, a thicker cream for dry, or something in between. Some of the face lotions with radiance/skin brightening ingredients are perfect for dewy spring skin, and are a nice boost for any look.

If we just take a little extra care in reviving skin at this time of year, the reward will be a complexion that’s more awake and well-textured. Your face will look flawless all season long!

Beauty brand Biotherm’s newest product is the result of over 50 years of research. Their Celluli Laser D. Code cream is a product that actually appears to work! Demand is skyrocketing for this revolutionary cream that works by tapping into the skin’s DNA.

The Daily Mail reports that Biotherm Celluli Laser D.Code is the latest weapon in the fight against the orange-peel effect of celulite riddled skin and has been specifically developed to combat both lifestyle-related, and genetic forms of cellulite. It’s said to permanently remove the orange peel effect of cellulite by manipulating the genes in tissues under the skin. It leaves lumpy skin visibly smoother and thighs an average of 0.5cm slimmer in 10 days.

The LA Times recently ran a piece on germs and makeup testers. Dr. Elizabeth Brooks, a biological sciences professor at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, conducted a two-year study on public makeup testers. “We went to department stores, specialty stores, drugstores — everywhere,” she says. Her researchers found staph, strep and even E. coli bacteria on makeup testers. “Wherever you see E. coli, you should just think ‘E. coli equals feces,’ ” Brooks says. “That means someone went to the bathroom, didn’t wash their hands and then stuck their fingers in that moisturizer.” Brooks says that when they tested the makeup on Saturdays — the day with the most traffic at cosmetic counters — the percentage of tainted makeup was 100%.  Avoid the testers ladies, and if you must use them, use rubbing alcohol to protect yourself!
