Designer Jeremy Scott Officially Signs With WME-IMG Agency

With a celebrity fan following which includes the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna, Moschino designer Jeremy Scott is already well known for his colourful creations. In breaking news, Women’s Wear Daily reports that Scott will now be represented by the talent and fashion agency WME-IMG.

According to WWD, the WME agency will look after his opportunities in the entertainment, book and television worlds. Meanwhile, IMG will be responsible for his ever-rising career in fashion.

Scott has signed with the powerhouse agency just in time for Moschino’s upcoming Spring 2017 Menswear and Resort 2017 collections. The 40-year-old Missouri-born and Los Angeles-based design talent is set to showcase his latest styles in June, as part of Made Los Angeles by Made Fashion Week.

In the fashion world, superstar Scott has quickly gained a reputation for attiring a variety of Hollywood bombshells. The daring designer officially become the creative director of Italian fashion house Moschino in 2013. Since then, his runway pieces have paid tribute to fast food, along with quirky cartoon characters like Spongebob Squarepants and Helly Kitty.

In the past, he has also collaborated with footwear line Adidas to produce a line of signature sneakers. Scott also stars in the 2015 documentary Jeremy Scott: The People’s Designer, which takes a closer look at his career at Moschino, creative process and famous clients.

Could there be exciting new projects in store for Scott, now that he was signed with WMG-IMG? While it may be too early to know for sure, fans can certainly keep their eyes open for his next round of whimsical creations.
