H&M To Dress Swedish Olympic Teams
The Olympics are about to get a lot more fashionable as H&M has announced that they will be dressing the Swedish Olympic and Paralympic teams. H&M and the Swedish Olympic Committee signed a deal to have H&M create the outfits for the teams for the 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games.
H&M will be creating their outfits for the opening and closing ceremonies, training gear and casual clothing to wear during the games. They will be working with the Olympians to ensure the clothes aren’t just fashionable, but also functional.
Once the sportswear is created, H&M will also be adding this functional athletic wear to their stores, so that you will be able to get working clothing the same calibre as the Swedish Olympic Team.
With The Bay creating fashion for the Canadian Olympians, Ralph Lauren for the Americans, Giorgio Armani for Italy and Salvatore Ferragamo for San Marino, it was only a matter of time before other countries tapped their homegrown fashion talent for Olympic attire.
