Cannes Best Dressed Recap: Diane, Eva, Cheryl & More
The 65th Cannes Film Festival has given us as much red carpet fashion candy as our sweet tooth for couture could imagine- and it’s not over yet! From Eva Longoria’s lace Alberta Ferretti seduction, to Cheryl Cole in dramatic ruby-dipped Stephane Rolland, to hit after hit from the show stopping Diane Kruger, we can’t peel our eyes away.
Lovely Eva Longoria
Our favourite look from Eva Longoria was this Alberta Ferretti look, which showed up all other lace looks and was a prime example of scaling back on the volume and going for sexy subtlety. Though her more over-the-top first pale Marchesa number was a stunner we love how this doesn’t overwhelm her small frame.
Cheryl Cole Stuns
Cheryl Cole’s white and red feathered Stephane Rolland stunner made some covet and others cringe the intense colour combination and unexpected scarlet plumage. We loved that it was an unexpected twist of classic with the simplistic white top and anything-but-simple bright red feathered train, though we wish it didn’t fade into the carpet so much.
Best Dressed Diane
Finally, the star who has us on our fashionable toes through the whole week was blonde beauty and fashion favourite Diane Kruger. We loved her mint Giambattista Valli, purred over her effortless cleavage baring Calvin Klein coral frock, and praised her metallic Vivienne Westwood gown. The most memorable of all was the goddess-worthy first appearance mint confection above, though. Diane keeps wowing us over and over on the red carpet. Will this recent red carpet takeover help turn Diane Kruger into an even bigger star?
