Legendary Artist Prince Dies At Age 57

In breaking entertainment news, TMZ has just announced that legendary artist Prince died this morning at age 57. The body of the iconic performer was discovered at his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota.
According to TMZ, the singer-songwriter reportedly fell ill with the flu on April 15. Although his private jet made an emergency landing in Illinois, Prince made a surprise appearance on April 16 at a local dance party near his property.
CBC also reports that Prince was most recently on his Piano and a Microphone tour, and had travelled to Toronto and Montreal in March.
Prince, who was born Prince Rogers Nelson in Minneapolis in 1958, was renowned for his numerous Grammy-winning hits. The superstar’s most famous songs included Purple Rain, Kiss, Little Red Corvette and The Beautiful Ones. Prince performed at the Super Bowl in 2007, and is said to have sold over 100 million records
In the past, he had been married to dancer and actor Mayte Garcia, who he divorced in 2000. His second marriage to Canadian businesswoman Manuela Testolini also ended, in 2006.
