Signs Brad Pitt & Angelina Got Married Christmas Day In Turks & Caicos
We hate to believe a rumour too soon, but we couldn’t help but be intrigued today when we came across an article in the UK’s The Telegraph entitled, “Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie get married on Christmas Day?” It’s The Telegraph, after all, not the National Inquiror! According to The Telegraph, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt “have been spending the holiday at the private Parrot Cay estate of American fashion designer, Donna Karan along with their six children, Brad’s parents Jane and William Pitt, his brother Doug and sister Julie” in the Turks and Caicos. That seems like a lot of family for just a regular old vacation, if you ask us! The Telegraph also reports that Donna Karan’s estate, known as, ‘The Sanctuary” is “a collection of three secluded villas, three open-air pavilions and four swimming pools, was built by Karan as a ‘cocoon of serenity’ for her family following the death of her husband Stephan Weiss in 2001. The entire estate, styled in a hybrid Indonesian/African style, sleeps 22, but Parrot Cay is dotted with similarly luxurious private residences, perfect for their entourage ( one local told a journalist that the couple had been spotted with two nannies per child in tow), and wedding guests.” Sounds very, very private, don’t you think? Vanity Fair has already published an article today explaining why they believe the rumours are just rumours, but we’d prefer to believe that the rumours might just be true after all… and here’s why.
1. Angelina Wouldn’t Have To Pack A Wedding Dress
Everyone’s been wondering who will design Angelina Jolie’s wedding dress, ever since she and Brad Pitt got engaged in April 2012. L’Wren Scott has been the rumoured front-runner for the job, but imagine if Angelina had decided on a Donna Karan wedding dress! She’d simply have to turn up in New York for a few fittings and then just meet Donna down at The Sanctuary where her wedding gown would be waiting for her and the designer would be there to see her wear it.

2. Holidays Are The Best Times For A-Listers To Pull Off Secret Weddings
…or to do anything in secret, for that matter. Katie Holmes announced her plans to divorce Tom Cruise on the late Friday evening before the July 4th weekend in 2012 for a reason: She knew that gossip writers would be well on their way to their vacation spots when her news broke and that less gossip would ultimately come out of it that way. It’s sneaky, but it’s true. And we can’t say we blame them. If Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wanted to truly pull off a secret wedding with all of their family present, Christmas would be the perfect time to pull it off.
3. The Paparazzi Have Staked Out Their Chateau Far Too Often
Remember last summer when a rumoured George Clooney sighting in France sent the media into a tizzy wondering whether or not Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were planning to tie the knot? We all know that places like France, Cambodia, Ethopia, and Namibia are all special to the couple, but we’ve never heard that much about their interest in Turks & Caicos… which makes it the perfect place to pull off a top secret wedding!
