For apparently a small fashion market, Canada sure packs a lot of design talent. This was evident at the Holt Renfrew fashion show last night at the opening of LG Fashion week and the The Shows last week. Holt Renfrew, Canada’s top retail destination for established designer brands, traditionally opens the week long run of Canadian fashion shows- also known as Toronto Fashion Week. The half hour show previewed the edited collections of the following Canadian fashion designers: Jeremy Laing, Smythe, Naked & Famous ( yes it is the name of the brand), TwentyCluny, Denis Gagnon, Dennis Merotto, Wings + Horns and Lida Baday.
